Obituary
Millie J. Lawson, age 56 of Harrison, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at the Hospice House in Harrison.
The daughter of Lonnie and Murriell (Collier) Russell, she was born November 23, 1952 at Dermott, Arkansas.
She had lived in this area since 1973, moving from Illinois.
She loved her grandchildren and being with them and her friends.
Playing Bingo was a fun game she enjoyed doing.
Her parents, Lonnie and Murriell Russell preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Tammi and Allen Kauffman of Harrison; two brothers, Roger Lawson and wife, Donna of Harrison, and Joe Lawson
and wife, Sherry of McGehee; one sister, Wanda Emerson of Diamond City; three grandchildren, Ryan, Zane and Adin; and a good friend, Patty Smith.
Cremation arrangements are by Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison.
There was a memorial service held, Saturday, April 18, 2009, at Open Door Baptist Church, Rev. Howard Braymer officiated.
Family request in lieu of flowers, that memorials be made to Harrison Hospice House, 501 E. Sherman, Harrison, AR 72601.
