Michael Eugene "Mike" Reschke, 68 of Jasper, Arkansas passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Newton County Nursing Home.

The son of Earthman R. and Victoria (Sykora) Reschke was born February 2, 1949 at Perry, Oklahoma.  He was a veteran of the US Army, serving during the Vietnam Era.  He had been a resident of Boone and Newton County for the past 7 years, moving from Amity, Arkansas, where he and his wife raised their family.

Michael enjoyed woodworking and working on lawnmowers and 4-wheelers.  He was very outgoing, friendly and hardworking and would help anyone in need.  He was a kind and loving father, grandfather and brother and will be missed by all who knew him.  He was of Baptist faith and had accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Michael is survived by his wife of 45 years, Glenna Reschke of Jasper; his son, Michael Eugene Reschke, II of Bergman; his daughter, Kristal Gale Reschke of North Little Rock; one brother, Frank Reschke and wife Nina of OK; two sisters, Mary Reschke and Ida Cook both of OK: two grandchildren, Michael Eugene Reschke, III of Deer and Victoria Rae Reschke of North Little Rock; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, January 8, 2018 at Maple Leaf Cemetery in Harrison with Pastor Bud Grimes officiating.  Visitation will be from 2-4 PM Sunday, at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
