Mike Hoppis, 57 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at home, surrounded by his family.

The son of Harroll and Linda Hoppis was born April 4, 1960 in Kansas City, Kansas.  He was a resident of Harrison for 38 years moving here from Kansas and was a poultry farmer.

Mike enjoyed fishing, hunting and farming and he loved spending time with his grandkids and family.  He loved to go camping and spending time at the lake and watching football games with the family.  To his grandchildren, he was the best Papa there was.  He was caring, hardworking and wanted to make sure his family was taken care of.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arthur and Alcie Hoppis, his uncles, Dee Hoppis and Argie Hoppis, his aunt, Barbara K. Hoppis and his father and mother-in-law, Gene and Essie Mae Kendall.

Mike is survived by his wife and best friend of 36 years, Dottie Hoppis of the home; his parents, Harroll A. and Linda Hoppis of Harrison; his children, Joshua Scott Hoppis and wife Ashley of Harrison and Michael Hutton of Green Forest; two brothers, Mathew Hoppis and wife Jessica of Conway, AR and Justin Hoppis and wife Nita of Locust Grove, OK; four sisters, Kendra Burris of Harrison; Karla Jackson and husband Steve of Springdale, Debbie Coleman and husband Joe of Bergman and Konnie Miller and husband Richard of Gainesboro, TN; four grandchildren, Harlie, Wylie, Jasper and Gentry; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved him and will miss him.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, March 30, 2018 at Hasty Cemetery with Dr. David Artman officiating.  Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 PM at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.

Honorary Pallbearers are The Leslie Clinic, Dr. John Leslie, Dr. Tom Leslie and Hospice of the Hills nurses and staff.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Hospice of the Hills, 501 E. Sherman, Harrison, AR, 72601.
