Michael J. Stephen, of Harrison, passed away at his home on Wednesday, October 25, 2023.  He was 79 years old.

The son of William F. and Mary Christine (Fisher) Stephen was born on February 13, 1944 in Richmond, Indiana.

Mike was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served in the Vietnam War.  He was an 18-year member of Mary Mother of God Catholic Church and a faithful member of the Knights of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and stepfather, John J. Fox.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Margie Stephen; one daughter and her husband, Summer Mary and Nick Rykert; stepsister, Debbie Whidden; and cousins, Cheryl Byrne, Karen Frashier, and Rhonda Briggs.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison from 3:00 to 5:00 PM

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Mary Mother of God Catholic Church.  The Celebrant is Father Ben Riley.  The Mass will be preceded by a Rosary at 9:30 AM.  Burial with Military Honors will follow the Mass at Mary Mother of God Catholic Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be members of the Knights of Columbus.
