Obituary
Merlin E. Hadley, age 71, of Harrison, AR passed away Sunday, March 18, 2007 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, AR.
The son of Fannie (Swaby) Hadley, was born July 20, 1935 in Wynne, AR. He had moved here from Wynne thirty years ago and had worked for Harrison Furniture Manufacturing. He was a farmer and enjoyed the outdoors and being with his grandchildren.
he attended New Testament Church of Bergman.
His parents preceded him in death along with a sister, Cordia and a grandson, David Hendrix.
Survivors are his wife of 40 years, Florene (Tackett) Hadley of the home; son, Jimmy Harper of Harrison; daughters, Leah Surber of Harrison and Carla Lee of Forrest city, AR; six grandchildren; a granddaughter-in-law, Melinda Hendrix; and ten great grandchildren.
Visitation was Thursday, March 22 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Service was Friday, March 23 at the funeral home chapel with Doyle Burnett officiating. Burial was in Maplewood Cemetery.
