Obituary
Melvin Eugene "Gene" Standfield, age 47 of Marble Falls, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at Hospice of the Hills Hospice House in Harrison, Arkansas.
The son of Herbert and Glenda (Roland) Standfield was born February 28, 1963 in Marked Tree, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Rhonda Hawkins.
Survivors are his wife, Dawn (Allen) Standfield of the home; children, Stephen Fidler and wife, Heather of Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri, Sean Fidler, T.J. Fidler, and Jeffrey Fidler all of Lansing, Michigan, and Mary Ellen Standfield and husband, "Pug" of Marked Tree; grandchildren, Elexis, Conner, Cheyenne, Hayden, and Hayley Fidler; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Cremation and arrangements are being handled by Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
There is no service planned at this time.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Melvin "Gene" Standfield Memorial Fund, c/o Arvest Bank.
