"Red" Finch, 78 of Hasty, Arkansas and formerly of Alexander, died Monday, June 5, 2006. He was born July 4, 1927, in Conway, the son of Lonnie and Grace (Newberry) Finch. He was a self-employed auto mechanic and moved to Hasty in March 1984.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Ena Lou Lenderman; a grandchild, Shannon Elaine Finch and thre great grandchildren, Austin Cole, Colton Heath Vaughan and Brandon Lewis Hulsey.
Survivors are his wife, Eula Ann Finch of Hasty; six children, Roger D. Finch of Alexander, Mary G. Bryant of Roland, Danny R. Finch of Beebe, Beverly C. Finch of Conway, Kelvin C. Finch of Portland, OR and Caey Finch of Hasty; one brother, Carlton Finch of Vilonia; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; step-children, Ross and Edward Jasper and Evadetta Simmons and four step grandchildren.
Services were Saturday, June 10, 2006 at the Yardell Chapel with burial in the Sand Hill Cemetery at Yardell. Visitation was Friday June 9, at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper. Derwin Martin officiated the service.
