Obituary
Melburn Herron, age 88 of Pindall, Arkansas passed away Monday, April 20, 2009.
He was born July 5, 1930 to Everett and Grace (McDougal) Herron.
Melburn was an Army Rifleman in World War II. He received four Bronze Stars for serving in the air offensive in Europe, Normandy, Rhineland, and Northern France.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Marie Jones Drewery and Lennie Keele; and his brother, Will Herron.
Survivors are his siblings, Patsy Housley, Florence Strickland, and Ernest, Jack, Joe, and Troy Herron.
Graveside service was Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at Maplewood Cemetery. Pastor Leonard Mast officiated.
Arrangements were handled by Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
