Maxine Pearl Clayton, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away at home on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at the age of 84.

The daughter of the late Jack Archer Hundley and Gladys Ida (Thiers) Hundley was born in Pine River, Minnesota on November 24, 1936.  Maxine moved to Harrison 20 years ago from Riverside, California after retiring as a Postmaster.

Maxine loved to go to the casino and play slot machines.  She also enjoyed reading and gardening.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister.

Maxine is survived by her children, Robin Hinman-Clabaugh, Bobby Hinman and Peggy Bennett; her beloved companion, Bill Bruce; a brother, David Hundley; three sisters, Lavonne Birdwell, Carol Hender and Linda Brown; four grandchildren, Brooke, Jessie, Tifinnie and Breanna; two great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, extended relatives and many friends who loved her and will miss her.
