Obituary
Maxie Jo Eddings, age 76 of St. Joe, Arkansas passed away Wednesday September 7, 2016 in Harrison, Arkansas.
The daughter of Preston and Tressie (Carter) Eddings was born on July 24, 1940 at Cave Creek, Arkansas.
Maxie enjoyed crocheting, embroidering and making jewelry. She loved all children, especially Beverly and Jesse.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters, Joann Eddings and Willa Eddings.
She is survived by 1 sister, Lessie Morrison of St. Joe; 4 brothers, W.F. Eddings of St. Joe, Lonnie Eddings of St. Joe, Gene Eddings of Charleston, Arkansas and Wayne Eddings of Valley Springs, Arkansas; her special dog Tooter and many nieces, nephews and other family and friends who will mourn her passing.
Services will be held Saturday September 10, 2016 at 10:00 am at the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison with Brother Dorvin Ricketts officiating. Burial will follow in Sand Hill Cemetery at Yardell. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Sandy Wright, Jr. Young, Steven Shockey, Lane Shockey, Danny Gene Eddings, Charlie Eddings, Joe Eddings and Randy Eddings. Honorary pallbearers include Jessie Eddings, Joe Preston Eddings, Toby Eddings, Ramey Wright and Eddie Morgan.
The family wishes in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Hospice House, 501 E. Sherman, Harrison, AR 72601.
