Obituary
Max Dean Standley, age 70 of Parthenon, Arkansas, an accomplished artist, kind, loving and much loved husband, a wonderful uncle and a very loved brother, passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday, September 3, 2013, having just been working on his last painting, which will forever remain unfinished.
He was born on November 19, 1942 in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Harlan Lafayett Standley and Margaret Lucille (Nelson) Standley.
His parents and one sister, Nelda Miller preceded him in death.
Survivors are his wife, Marguerite "Maags" MacLoch of the home; one sister, Jo Ann Wolfshal of Houston, Texas; several nieces, nephews and many friends who will miss him sorely.
A potluck celebration of his life will be held at the community building in Parthenon, Arkansas on Saturday, September 28, 2013 starting at 6 p.m.
