Max Earl Callaham, age 81 of Harrison, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2015 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, Arkansas.
The son of Cecil J. and Nettie Ann (Moore) Callaham was born August 3, 1933 in Fredrick, Oklahoma.
He was a member of The First Baptist Church where is was a Sunday school teacher and former Deacon. He was also a member of Gideons International.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Katherine A. Callaham; and his brothers, Don E. Callaham and Robert W. Callaham.
He is survived by his children, Katherine Earlene Callaham, Steven Duane Callaham and wife Janet, and Martha Ann Holder and husband Chris; his grandchildren, Casey, Ryan, Tylar and Kaylee, Garret and Bekah, and Jenna and Jordan; great grandchildren, Shane, Wyatt, Ryker, Jack and Sawyer.
Funeral service was 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Harrison, AR. with Pastor Rob Davis officiating. Visitation was 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Harrison.
Honorary pallbearers were Kevin Parker, Bill Blanchard, Jimmy Shepard, Jacob Grace, and Dr. Steve Shrum and staff of Cornerstone Medical Clinic.
Graveside service and burial were held 10:00 A.M. Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Green Hills Cemetery in Sapulpa, Oklahoma with Brad Taylor officiating.
