Mary Jane Syverson, age 87 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Sunday, November 12, 2017 in Harrison.

The daughter of Joseph S. and Esther M. (Moffet) King was born in Tekamah, Nebraska on February 15, 1930.

Mary was a member of the Extension Club and Rebecca Lodge. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, crafts and baking.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers, Bud King, Kenneth King and Leroy King; and 2 sisters, Marilyn Hardy and Doris Kjeldgaard.

Mary is survived by 2 sons, Alan Kjeldgaard and James Kjeldgaard; a daughter, Julie K. Maxey; 2 step-daughters, Ruby Lewis and Vicki Pfister; 2 sisters, Joann Maxwell and Betty Buddecke; 2 sisters-in-law, Sally King and Mary King; 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and many other family and friends who will mourn her passing.
