Obituary
Mary Leona Stayton, age 64 of Gilbert, passed away November 2, 2011 at the Hospice of the Hills Hospice House.
The daughter of Leonard James and Beatrice Leona (Lester) Wright was born September 3, 1947 in Knox City, Texas.
She enjoyed cooking, crocheting and spending time with her grandkids.
She is preceded in death by her parents and 4 siblings.
She is survived by her husband,John Stayton of Gilbert; son John Glenn Stayton of Houston, TX; Daughters, Mary Lou Burge and husband Wayne of Atchison, KS and Lottie Adams and husband Terry of St. Joe, AR; brothers, Raymond Wright of Harrison and Freddie Wright of Branson; sisters, Shirley Alord of Alpena, Thelma Blakemore of Western Grove, Lillie Baker of Harrison, and Linda Coppage of Eldorado OK.; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral service was Saturday, November 5, 2011
at the Gilbert Church with Raymond Wright officiating. Burial followed in Gilbert Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Terry Adams, Wayne Burge, Shane Adams, Kurtiss Burge, Ben Fruehaur and Danny James Baker.
Honorary pallbearers were Raymond Wright and Freddie Wright.
