Mary Sue Maples' Obituary
Mary Sue Maples, age 85 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Hospice of the Hills Hospice House in Harrison.
The daughter of Luther and Mary Ethel (Ruff) Arnold was born August 10, 1927 in Marshall, Arkansas.
She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy D. Maples; sisters, Opal Lee Taylor and Leona Coffman; and brothers, Ruff Arnold and Bruff Arnold.
Survivors are her sons and daughters-in-law, Ricky and Paula Maples of Harrison and Ross and Ginger Maples of St. Joe, Arkansas; brother, Jim Arnold, Sr. of Clinton, Arkansas; sisters, Jo Ashley of Colorado; grandchildren, David Maples, Elizabeth Maples, Vanessa Eddings, and Daniel Maples; great-grandchildren, Anabelle Eddings, Cole Eddings, Ella Eddings, and Tamra Maples; and a host of nieces and nephews.
There was no visitation.
Graveside service was Friday, April 13, 2012 at Silver Hill Cemetery with Jim Arnold, Jr. officiating. Pallbearers were family and friends.
Arrangements have been handled by Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Hills Hospice House, 501 E. Sherman, Harrison, Arkansas 72601.
