Mary Elizabeth Holt of Harrison, Arkansas went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at the age of 94.

The daughter of Joe McKinley and Margaret Levenie (Riddle) Sexton was born March 14, 1922 at Mount Judea, Arkansas.

Mary was a lifelong resident of Newton and Boone County and attended Batavia Full Gospel Church. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved spending time with her grandkids and was very proud of them all.

She enjoyed gardening, quilting, sewing, camping and puzzles. She was a believer in the Lord and read her Bible every day.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Holt, an infant son, her daughter, Loretta Mehn, two brothers, Homer Sexton and Kirt Sexton; a grandson, Ted Plumlee and great granddaughter, Kadi Holt.

Mary is survived by five sons, John Wheeler of Kansas City, Kansas; Dewey Holt and wife Jackie of Harrison, Roy Holt and wife Lori of Harrison, James Holt and wife Theresa of Jasper, Dean Holt of Harrison; three daughters, Betty Thompson and husband J.K. of Harrison, Lillie Culp and husband Robert of Harrison, Lillian Shatwell and husband Carl of Valley Springs, a son-in-law, Danny Mehn of Harrison, a brother, Curtis Sexton and wife Betty of Dogpatch, and sister, Ruth Clark-Collins of Bergman; 31 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives who loved her and will miss her.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison with Bro. Eddie Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Cowell Cemetery.

Pallbearers are grandsons. Honorary pallbearers are granddaughters.

Visitation will be Friday from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
