Obituary
Mary L. Hight, age 92 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Newton County Nursing Home in Jasper, Arkansas.
She was born July 12, 1922 in Dickson, Tennessee to Thomas Jefferson and Will Edna Springer. She lived in this area the past 14 years, after moving here from Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Mary enjoyed life to it's fullest.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; her daughter, Sharon; her parents; one sister; and two brothers.
She is survived by her sister, Carrie Choate of Dickson, Tennessee; her sons, Jeff and Wayne Hight; grandchildren, Janis Hight, Jeff W. Hight, Dannelle Seamen, Krystal Giltner, Dan Jones; and six great-grandchildren.
Cremation and arrangements are being handled by Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
There will be a memorial graveside service held in Abbeville, South Carolina at a later date.
The family would like to thank the staff and residents of Newton County Nursing Home for their care and compassion.
