Mary Rose Hatch, of Harrison, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2022 at Regency Hospital in Springdale. She was 88 years old.

The daughter of Fred C. and Osie Viola (Clayborn) Dickens was born on May 31, 1934 in Green Forest, Arkansas.

Mary attended local schools and N.E.O A&M in Oklahoma. Later while living in Florida, she graduated from Tomlison E.D.C. in St. Petersburg. Mary was of the Roman Catholic faith.

Mary's career was in the beauty industry. She was a cosmetology instructor, a shop owner, and stylist. She received her continuing education in both Europe and the United States. Mary had a lifetime cosmetology instructor's license from the State of Arkansas.

She married Dexter Herbert Hatch on June 6, 1954. They were blessed with two sons, David and Richard Hatch. Mary enjoyed her six grandchildren, one step granddaughter, seven great grandchildren, and five step great grandchildren. Her family was the center of her world and she loved being there for them.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister and her husband, Rena and Jay Wilson; and a step grandson, Darick Jester.

Survivors include her husband, Dexter; two sons and their wives, David and Rita Hatch and Richard and Kelly Hatch; grandchildren; great grandchildren; the mothers of her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Kathy, Barbara, Glenda, Kelly, Rita, Christa, Amy, Jorden, and Misty; one brother, Dr. Ray Dickens; and two sisters, Gladys Widner and Viola Aguiar.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 18, 2022 at Coffman Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 PM

Graveside service is Friday, August 19, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Mary Mother of God Catholic Cemetery. Deacon Mark Scouten will officiate. Pallbearers are her grandsons, Steven, Daniel, Matt, and Blair.
