Mary Evelyn Green, of Harrison, passed away at her home on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. She was 95 years old.
The daughter of Oskar and Amanda (Schade) Heidrich was born on August 3, 1930 in Perry, Oklahoma.
Mary was a devoted member of Osage Baptist Church. She was a gifted quilt maker and seamstress, known for her exceptional skill and creativity. She also loved painting, gardening, and photography, finding joy in capturing beauty in many forms. Above all, Mary was a loving mother and "Granny," whose warmth and kindness touched everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Owen Stanley "Barney" Green; her parents; three brothers, George, Ray, and Levi "Snuffy"; one sister, June "Addie"; and one grandson, Justin Green.
Survivors include one son and his wife, Ralph (Betty) Green; one daughter and her husband, Claudeia (Rick) Hampton; one sister and her husband, Ruth and Ray Valdez; one sister-in-law, Gerry Heidrich; nine grandchildren, David, Damon (Jennifer), Heather (Ted), Jeffery (Kayla), Stanley, Jeremy (Shannon), Shawna K. (Greg), Casey, and Brandon; 23 great grandchildren, Corey, Brandon, Emalee, Farissa, Andhi, Quade, Zane, Carson, Cameron, Brittney, Megan, Charlie, Leela, Jaxon, Owen, MaRanda, Jorden, Katelyn, Matthew, Jared, Tanner, Mitchel, and Luke; 12 great great grandchildren, Nolan, Josiah, Elenya, Atlas, Mallory, Madison, Ava, Oaklee, Lorelei, Addilyn, Mason and Charlotte; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation is Thursday, December 4, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison.
Funeral service will be Friday, December 5, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Osage Baptist Church. Pastor Lanny Younger and Wade Edwards will officiate. Burial will be in Gobbler Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons: David, Damon, Jeffery, Stanley, Jeremy, and Greg. Honorary pallbearers include the Staff at Teague Family Medical Clinic and Hospice of the Hills. The family would like to recognize special friends, Brenda Bell, Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher, Carol and Joe Doster, Jean and Seldon Trammell, Rose Foster, Earnestine Gober Foster, and Geneva Green.
