Mary Ann Crabtree, of Jasper, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison.  She was 84 years old.

The daughter of Joseph and Ella (Drewry) Traeger was born on September 20, 1937 in Hartman, Arkansas.

Mary was a devout Catholic and a longtime member of Mary Mother of God Catholic Church. Mary loved helping others and her kind and caring nature led her to a career in healthcare.  She worked as an LPN for 10 years at Boone County Hospital and loved her time there especially when she was able to work in the nursery.  She enjoyed crafting and cooking for her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Billy Gene Crabtree; her parents; two sons, John Mark Crabtree and infant, Christopher; and one sister, Lorene Crabtree.

Survivors include five children, Billy Joe (Marsha) Crabtree, Marilyn (Terry) Hensley, Michael (Mary) Crabtree, Laura (Jeff) Smith, and Karen Messer (Brian Schultz); 11 grandchildren, Joe, Katie, Shellie, Aaron, Lyndsey, Tyler, Casey, Christopher, Justin, Amber, and Matthew; numerous great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; one sister, Elleen Steele; close family friend, Brad; and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation is Friday, December 3, 2021 at Coffman Funeral Home of Jasper from 5:00 to 7:00 PM

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Mary Mother of God Catholic Church.  The celebrant will be Father Jim Fanrak.  The Mass will be preceded by a rosary at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow the Mass at Jasper Cemetery.  The family will serve as pallbearers.
