Obituary
Mary L. Christen, age 69 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison.
The daughter of Archie Stratton and Eulah (Manley) Cole was born February 21, 1943 in Harrison.
She enjoyed fishing and sightseeing and especially enjoyed being with her family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Eulah Cole; father, Archie Stratton; husband, Adolph Christen; brother, Emery Stratton; sisters, Ruth Conway and Judith Cartner; and a son-in-law, Jimmie Burns.
Survivors are her children, Donna Burns of Harrison, James Christen of Boulder, Colorado, Kenneth Christen of Harrison, and Sheila Mounce and husband Nathan of Harrison; brother, Robert Stratton of Cascade Locks, Oregon; sister, Verna Henderson of Lead Hill, Arkansas; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
Service was Friday, February 1, 2013 at CrossRoads Community Church with Pastor Mike Moore officiating.
Burial followed in York Cemetery at Bergman, Arkansas with pallbearers being Michael Crow, Carl Riene, Adam Christen, Mike Turner, Randy Henderson, and Billy Henderson.
