Martina Fondren, age 66 of Jasper, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Washington Regional Hospital in Fayetteville, AR.

The daughter of Martin Irvin Fields and Dorthy (Gibbson) Fields was born February 12, 1954 in Flint, Michigan.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Albert Fondren, Jr.; daughter, Chrisy Sue Laxson; her parents, Martin Ivan Fields and Dorthy (Gibbson) Fields; sisters, Ina Eastman, Florence Tithor, and Joyce Wallif; brother, Harold Fields; and her great grandchild, Otto Holzhemer.

Martina was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her dogs.

Martina was a 5 year cancer survivor.  She was a friend to all and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her son, Johnny Albert Fondren, 3rd; her daughter, Jennifer Lynn Fondren; her brothers, Randy Fields, Earl Meece, and Art Meece; her sisters, Helen Azelton, Wanda Carter, and Paula Fields; her grandchildren, Ashley Anderson, Nicholas Fondren, Carissa Brandt, and Hannah Fondren, Casey, Gracie and Gabby Folks, and Autumn Fondren; and her great grandchildren, Brandon Breedlove, Hadley Anderson, Corey Holzheimer, Cash Anderson, and Claira Holzheimer.

Cremation arrangements are with Coffman Funeral Home of Jasper.
