Martha Christine Woods Taylor Moore, age 68 of Deer, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

She was born on April 16, 1945 in Webbers Falls, Oklahoma the daughter of Carl and Stella (Rowland) Woods.

She graduated from Deer High School and was a homemaker. She had worked at Dogpatch, Newton County Nursing Home as an aide and was a family service worker in the Headstart Program for Deer School until her health forced her to retire.

Christine was a lifelong member of the Wayton Freewill Baptist Church. She loved to quilt, sew, paint and make jewelry. She also loved to make jelly and gave it to everyone.

She was preceded in death by her first husband of 30 years, Jerry Taylor; her parents, Carl and Stella Woods; a sister, Francis Shanks; four brothers, John, Leon, Paul and Gordon Woods; an infant sister, Laurna: a baby brother: and a step-son, Ronald Eugene Moore.

Survivors are her husband of 17 years, Eugene Moore of Deer, Arkansas; a daughter, Jacqueline Hawkins; a son, Timothy Taylor both of Deer, Arkansas; three granddaughters and one grandson all of Deer, Arkansas; two brothers, Garland Woods of Deer, Arkansas and Carlos Woods of Gravette, Arkansas; three step-sons, Bill, Steve and Mark Moore; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and many friends.

Service was Saturday, January 4, 2014 at the Wayton Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Tony Taylor officiating. Burial was in Snow Cemetery at Wayton.

Visitation was Friday, January 3, 2014 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper.

Pallbearers were Bill Shanks, Steve Moore, Bill Moore, Everett Woods, Leonard Woods, and Bradley Waters.

Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Lasater, Freddie Waters, Mark Moore, Teddy Waters, Erby Daniels, and Kelly Woods.
