Marlyce E. Gash, age 68 of Mt. Sherman, Arkansas passed away Thursday, February 25, 2010 at the Hospice House in Mt. Home, Arkansas. She was born June 1, 1941 in Fostoria, Kansas the daughter of Roy and Margaret (Luby) Trebbe.
Marlyce was a housewife and a member of the Mt. Sherman Assembly of God Church. She had moved to Newton County almost fourteen years ago from Rockwall, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Michelle "Micki"; three brothers, Roy, Ronnie,and Jack; and a grandson, Lance.
Survivors are her husband, Jerry Gash of the home; five sons, Doug Starr of Arizona, Raymond Starr, Jerry Don Gash, Robert Gash and Jessie Gash all of Texas; two daughters, Pam Owens of Mississippi and Angie Lasatar of Conway, Arkansas; 15 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and numerous aunts , uncles and other relatives and friends
Funeral service was
Monday, March 1, 2010 at Mt. Sherman Assembly of God Church with Brother Raymond White officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Sherman Cemetery under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home of Jasper. Visitation was Sunday, February 28, 2010 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers were Quentin Rylee, Greg Lackey, Jaden Mallot, Allen Floyd, Dwayne Barnard and Ray Salazar. Honorary pallbearers were Legacy Hospice and Staff and Hospice of Northwest Arkansas and Staff.
