Mark Douglas Hill, of Compton, passed away at his home on Wednesday, December 31, 2025.  He was 64 years old.

The son of Joseph William and Julia Page (Printz) Hill was born on August 7, 1961 in Portsmouth, Virginia.

Mark was a simple man who found joy in life's simple pleasures. He built a successful career as an electrician and loved spending time outdoors, surrounded by nature. A true animal lover, Mark had a kind and gentle spirit. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Dick Hill.

Survivors include his longtime significant other, Sharon Woodby; one brother, Gary (Linda) Hill; two sisters, Diane (Maurice) Beall and Nancy (Richard) Montgomery; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Robert Eyler, JD Biller, and Joel Scullion; and a host of other family and friends.
