Marion "Joe" Johnson passed from this life on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at the age of 60.
The son of Joseph D. Johnson and Bertha Gertrude (Otts) Johnson was born July 29, 1953 in Aberdeen, Mississippi.
Joe loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and hiking. He was an avid camper and also enjoyed photography. More than anything he loved his children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his youngest daughter, Candice Jo Williams-Martin.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Doug Brasel of Jasper, AR; sisters, Layunna Johnson of Panama City, FL, Beverly Romines of La Place, LA, Monica Jo Asay of Denver, CO and Pamela Kelley of Harrison, AR; two grandsons, Dylan Kilgore of Jasper, AR and Sean Williams of Pope, MS.
Joe had a heart of gold and was loved by many. He has taken his place among the angels and will be very missed by all who knew him.
