Obituary
Margie Stanley, age 82 of Bellefonte, AR passed away at her home Friday, December 14, 2007.
The daughter of George and Elsie (Markle) Wagoner, was born March 11, 1925 at Dodd City, AR.
Margie and her husband, I.J., were married October 22, 1940. She was a homemaker and enjoyed making porcelain dolls and their clothing.
Her parents preceded her in death, along with her husband, I.J. Stanley; and two brothers, Coy and Carl Wagoner.
Survivors are her son, Don Stanley and his wife, Terrie, of Harrison; her daughter, Wilma and her husband, Dean Horton, of Rogers; brothers, Loy Ray Wagoner, of Jasper and Harry Wagoner, of Harrison; sisters, Marie Harp and Dean Lister, both of Harrison, Nina Williams, of Bellefonte, and Shirley Horn, also of Harrison; and five grandchildren, Todd Horton, Vanessa Harper, Lisa Hicks, Sarah Henry, and Mary Elizabeth Cantwell; and 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation was Monday, December 17, 2007 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Graveside services were held. Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at Stanley Cemetery near Pyatt, with Leo Dye officiating. Pallbearers were Dean Horton, Kerry Harper, Todd Horton, Tim Cantwell, Nathan Henry, and J.T. Tabor.
Memorial donations may be made to North Arkansas College, 1515 Pioneer Drive, Harrison, AR 72601.
