Margaret "Peggy" Keeter, of Harrison, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at The Springs of Mt. Vista.  She was 82 years old.

The daughter of Donald Eugene and Hazel Jeanne (Bryan) Rush was born on December 14, 1941 in Harrison, Arkansas.

A lifelong member of the First Christian Church, Peggy embodied the values of her faith throughout her life. She had a passion for crafting, particularly needle art, and cherished her time spent camping and enjoying the outdoors. Family and friends were central to her life, and she looked forward to the annual family reunions that brought together generations of loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one granddaughter, Cortney Hames.

Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Jerry Keeter; one son, Jeff "Buddy" Keeter and his wife, Pam; three daughters and their husbands, Janet and Damian Bidgood, Debbie and Mark Zinser, and Jeannie and Allen Hames; seven grandchildren, Joshua, Jerian, Megan, Justin, Ryan, Michael, and Austin; 12 great grandchildren; one brother, Don Rush and his wife, Ann; one sister, Patsey Horsey and her late husband, Darrell; and a host of other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
