Margaret Ellen Cross, age 85, of Cave Creek, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024 at Signature Healthcare Whitesburg Gardens in Huntsville, Alabama.

The daughter of Willie and Eliza (Ogg) Crumpler was born August 9, 1938 in Pensacola, Florida. She resided in Florida and Georgia most of her life, as well as 15 years in Arkansas. She was a Baptist and enjoyed her time as a homemaker.

Margaret loved to sing gospel hymns and read her Bible. When her grandchildren were younger, she enjoyed sending them cards and letters. In her younger years, she enjoyed fishing with Norman. Margaret was always easy-going and would go along with whatever her family wanted to do. She was a blessing to her entire family and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband and father of her children, Charlie Skipper; and husbands, Dan Terry and Norman Cross; a daughter, Betty Bernice; an infant son, granddaughter, Vicki Marshall; and a grandson, Lee Folds.

Margaret is survived by two sons, William Skipper and Zack Skipper; four daughters and sons-in-law, Ellen and Curtis Nichols, Connie and Jesse Frank Breed, Mary "Susie" and Gary Ivey, and Willie Mae "Love Bug" and Junior Henson; 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren; and a host of extended relatives.

There will be a private graveside service at the Nichols Family Cemetery in Cave Creek, Arkansas.
