Obituary
Marcus Dale Seay, age 53 of Harrison, AR passed away Thursday, July 20, 2006 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, AR.
The son of Marcus L. and Lonell (Smith) Seay, was born November 29, 1952 in Savannah, TN. He was a retired Forester for the Arkansas State Forestry Commission. He never met a stranger and was loved and well thought of by everyone who knew him. He was preceded in death by his mother and a son, Michael Seay.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra (Martin) Seay of the home; son, Daniel J. Seay of the home; father, Marcus L. Seay of Savannah, TN; sisters, Elizabeth Moore and husband, Gary of Trenton, TN and Anita Reed and husband, Roger of Murfreesboro, TN; sisters-in-law, Patricia Frederick and husband, Joe of Harrison, Mary Swafford and husband, Jesse of Spartenburg, S.C., and Linda Hammock and husband, Ron of Cushing, OK; and brother-in-law, James "Butch" Martin and wife, Barbara of Gravette, AR.
Cremation and arrangements are being handled by Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
Memorial service may be announced at a later date. Honorary pallbearers are his "brothers" of the Boone and Newton Counties Forestry Service, and his very special late friend, David Harp.
Memorials may be made to research of Pulmonary Fibrosis, c/o American Lung Association of Arkansas, 211 Natural Resources Drive, Little Rock, AR 72205-9869.
