Obituary
Maggie L. Callison, age 101 of Harrison, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at Golden Living Harrison Nursing Center. The daughter of John and Betsy (Shatwell) Smith, was born Oct. 11, 1906 at Muldrow, Arkansas. She moved here from California in 2006 and was a homemaker. She also enjoyed fishing and going to swap meets or auctions when she was able.
Her husband, William Callison preceded her in death, along with two brothers; five sisters; and four grandsons.
Survivors include three sons, Frank Callison of Michigan, Harold Callison of Texas and John Callison of Oregon; four daughters, Nadine Baker of Valley Springs, Betty Nalls of Western Grove, Virginia Bogard of Hardy, and Pat Chavez of California; 20 grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was opened during business hours of Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison, Friday, April 4th, 2008. Service was Saturday, April 5th, 2008 in the funeral home Chapel and burial in Western Grove Cemetery. Mike Thomas officiated.
