Mae Lois Wallace, age 84 of Marble Falls, Arkansas passed away on Monday, October 14, 2013 at Bristol Pointe Health and Rehab in Harrison, Arkansas.
She was born on December 13, 1928 at Jasper, Arkansas the daughter of Lee and Beulah (Holt) Morgan.
She and her husband owned and operated the Pruitt Store and operated the Pruitt Post Office for several years.
She became a Christian at a young age and witnessed by her actions and meek gentle spirit through out her life. She was a life long attendee of the Jasper First Assembly of God Church.
She was a homemaker and a lifetime resident of Newton county.
Her parents; a brother, Clyde Morgan and a sister, Fern Smith preceded her in death.
Survivors are her husband of 56 years, J.D. Wallace of the home; one son, Billy Wallace and wife, Glenda Sue of Marble Falls, AR; one daughter, Kim Fowler and husband, Larry of Bellefonte, AR; two sisters, Magdalene Clayborn of Harrison, AR and Opal Rhoades of Jasper, AR; five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Friday, October 18, 2013 at Jasper First Assembly of God Church with Bro. Steven Holt and Bro. Kenny Clark officiating. Burial followed in Jasper Cemetery under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home of Jasper.
Visitation was Thursday, October 17, 2013 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers were David Morgan, Russell Morgan, Floyd Morgan, Jim Randy Laverty, Eddie Jones and Greg Jones.
