Obituary
Duard J. "Mack" McMurtry, age 85 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Newton County Nursing Home in Jasper, Arkansas.
The son of Charles T. and Nin (Adams) McMurtry was born January 6, 1929 in Harrison.
Mack was a Mason and a Teamster.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Freda McMurtry; his son-in-law, Tootie Keys; and a grandson, Charles McMurtry.
Survivors are his daughters, Karen McMurtry and husband Byron King of Harrison, Kathy McMurtry and husband Hewie Davis of Newport Richey, Florida, Konnie Keys of Jasper, and Terri Smith and husband Wendel of Harrison; seven grandchildren, James, Justin, Cim, Chrystal, Cody, Amanda Jo, and Lana; and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Friday, November 7, 2014 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
Graveside service was Saturday, November 8, 2014 at White Oak Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
