Obituary

Lyric Aiden Anderson, age 16, of Jasper, Arkansas, passed away Friday, October 24, 2025, at home.

He was born on March 21, 2009, in Harrison, Arkansas. Lyric was a beloved son, grandson, cousin, and friend, whose life and all he endured touched many.

Lyric was full of youthful energy. He loved playing his guitars and drums, listening to music, drawing, and being around his friends. He had a kind heart, and like his father, he wore it on his sleeve. Lyric's laughter and smile were contagious, and his soul was far beyond his years. His taste in music ranged from the 1960s to the newest releases. He could name and sing almost any genre. He was extremely witty and was always trying to make people laugh. Lyric was a brilliant young man who was strong-willed and had the potential to live an extraordinary life.

He is survived by his mother, Alana Alexander and her husband Zach, a sister, Aspen, due in January, his maternal grandmother or "Mammo" as he called her and his best friend, Tresia Collins-Campbell and her husband Clifford Campbell, his maternal grandfather Alan Dean, his aunt Heather Dean, his uncle's Dustin Dean, Wesley Dean and his wife Christine, his paternal grandmother Mary Thomas, his uncle's Jacob Thomas, Zack Thomas, Nathan Besse and his aunt Kalisa Gatlin. Lyric is survived by many cousins who adored him and friends who loved him, and his dog Shae.

Lyric is preceded in death by his father, Andrew Anderson.

He was loved far more than he ever realized, and his memory will live on in each and every one who loved him.
