Lynn Barton, age 44 of Harrison, AR passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2007 in Harrison.

The son of William Lelton Barton and Lena JoAnn (Montgomery) Dees, was born July 24, 1962 in Rockford, IL.

Lynn was a fork lift operator for Pace Industries. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being in the outdoors, and cooking. He was a life long resident of Harrison and was a Christian.

His grandparents, Ken and Lena Montgomery and Floyd and Leona Barton, all preceded him in death.

Survivors are his children, William Barton and his fiance', Mary Hicks of Harrison, Tara Barton of Bartlesville, OK, and Jessica Rowe and her husband, Phillip of Harrison; his father and step-mother, Bill and Betty Barton of Rockford, IL; his mother and step-father, JoAnn and Lowell Dees of Harrison; the mother of William and Tara, Theresa Barton of Harrison; his brother, Terry Barton of Harrison; his half-brother, Buster Billie Barton of Rockford, IL; his step-grandmother, Zella Montgomery of Harrison; and his three grandchildren, Amity Rowe, Izaac Rowe, and Kilee Barton. He is also survived by longtime and special friends, Janet and Jerry Canady, Robert and Judy Chambers, Shelvy Arbaugh, and Tim Farmer.

Visitation was Thursday, June 7 at Coffman Funeral Home. Funeral service was Friday, June 8, in Coffman Chapel with George Smith and Charles "Chicken" Hodge officiating.

Cremation arrangments have been handled by Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
