Lyndell D. Milam, age 60 passed away October 21, 2010 at Harrison, AR. The son of Dorse and Dorothy (Sullins) Milam, was born September 3, 1950 at Harrison.
He was born and raised in Harrison and had moved from Republic, MO in 2000. He was a member of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Springfield, MO and a member of The (WELS) Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod since 2003.
He had worked at different jobs but enjoyed outdoor work the most. His hobbies were fishing, camping, motorcycle riding and watching western movies.
His wife, Jolynn (Miller) Milam survives him, whom he married on May 22, 1976 in Dundee, Illinois. Also surviving are his mother, Dorothy Milam of Harrison; four children, Casey, Lance, Melinda, and Tammy Milam; a brother, Deryl Coy Milam of Missouri; 8 grandchildren with 1 due in November; nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; and his beloved dog, Mary Jane.
A memorial service was held Sunday, Oct. 24th at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sprngfield, MO (4717 South Golden - south of Republic Rd). Pastor Edwin Lehmann officiated.
A luncheon was served at the church following the memorial service.
Cremation and arrangements have been handled by Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to his wife to help with expenses.
