Obituary

Lunnie F. Henson, of Harrison, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025 at The Springs of Mt. Vista.  She was 87 years old.

The daughter of Lonnie L. and Etta Lou (Homer) Harmon was born on February 21, 1938 in Witts Springs, Arkansas.

Lunnie's love for the Lord showed through her faithfulness of serving Him every day.  She attended White Oak Church of God and loved singing gospel songs.  Lunnie also enjoyed crocheting, fishing, and playing her guitar.  She will be missed by all that knew her.

Her favorite saying was "May the Lord bless you and keep you safe from all harm and all evil in the name of Jesus."

She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Earl Henson; her parents; and two sisters, Angie and Lorene.

Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn (Charles) Hambay and Sue (Randy) Snowden; one sister, Mary (Jim) Wilson; two brothers, Ray Harmon and Doy (Joyce) Harmon; two grandchildren, Farris E. Snowden and Maria Snowden; four great grandchildren, Ashley and Madison Phifer and Benson and Thatcher Snowden; and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison.

Funeral service is Friday, March 28, 2025 at White Oak Church of God, in Bergman, at 11:00 AM.  Pastor Leo Dye will officiate.  Burial will be in Archey Valley Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be family and friends.  Honorary pallbearer is Farris Snowden.
