Lunceford "Lunce" Newton Cash, age 90, passed away Friday February 17, 2012 at Bristol Pointe Health and Rehab center in Harrison.
The son of Earnest Lee and Lilly (Sherrill) Cash was born January 22, 1922 in Richland Valley, Arkansas.
Lunce lived and worked in Richland Valley his entire life, where he was a rancher and cattle farmer. He loved the river and Richland Valley, and was Justice of the Peace of Richland Valley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Virgie (Hurd) Cash, granddaughter, Audrey Cleo Cash, sisters, Maudie Love, Hattie White, Gayle Robertson, Demoya Watts, Pauline Hovivian, and Willodean Sutton.
He is survived by his children, Lorraine Endicott, of St. Joe, Arkansas, Hattie Baker, of Everton, Arkansas, Fon Cash, of Everton, Arkansas, Bonnie Glidewell, of St. Joe, Arkansas, Patsy Wyatt, of St. Joe, Arkansas, Modene Curtis, of Harrison, Arkansas, Lilly Roberts, of Timbo, Arkansas and Belle Woods, of St. Joe, Arkansas, 17 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral service was Monday at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison with James Smithson officiating. Visitation was Sunday at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Burial followed in Love Cemetery in St. Joe Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be Gabe Fowler, Rodney Fowler, Jeff Baker, Jessie Cash, Jacob Glidewell, Allen Glidewell, Ken Harris, Adam Harris, Cash Curtis, Brock Curtis, Bradley Woods, and Jason Roberts.
Honorary Pallbearers were Rhonda Newton, Sherry Grinder, Patricia Barnes, Scarlet Smith, Ashley Roberts, Chelsea Woods, Dr. Tom Leslie, Bob Cash, Jay Alexa, Jack Simpson, The Staff of Bristol Pointe Nursing Center, James Henry Ramsey, Flo Campbell, Grace Blythe, Cash Hovivian, Marty Hovivian, Ernie McElroy, Jim Love, and all other nieces, nephews and family.
