Obituary

Lula Myrtle Aspromonte, age 101 of Omaha, AR, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2007 at home.

The daughter of Van and Lorinda (Bruner) Ware, was born March 1, 1906 in Omaha, AR.

She was a homemaker and was of the Pentecostal faith, having attended Miracle Lighthouse Church. She had worked as a pipefitter for the U.S. Navy. She also enjoyed quilting, crocheting, fishing, and spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her two daughters, Leona Christley and Bonnie J. Patton; her son, Roger Aspromonte; six brothers; five sisters; two great grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

Survivors are Lula's eleven grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren; forty-four great great grandchildren; three great great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by many, many friends.

Visitation was Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Funeral service was Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at the Funeral Home Chapel with Arvin Adams and Adam Watkins officiating.
Burial followed Omaha Methodist Cemetery with D.R. Periman, Thomas Periman, Robert Mansfield, Justin Mansfield, Bill Mansfield, and Kurt Johnson, serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Levi Watkins, Jonathan Bailey, Josiah Mansfield, James Mansfield, Nathan Johnson, Joshua Robertson, James Patton Cheek, Dustin McAlister, and T. J. Periman.
