Luella Genell (Campbell) Henson, 81, of Mount Judea, Arkansas, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 18, 2022 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, Arkansas, surrounded by her family.

The daughter of Binum and Jewel (Sexton) Campbell was born June 12, 1940 at Mount Judea, Arkansas.

Genell was a lifelong resident of Newton County and had worked many years as a caregiver and CNA. She attended Bethlehem Church for many years and enjoyed traveling to churches all over Newton County visiting many congregations.

She loved gardening, canning, cooking, quilting, sewing and hunting, especially deer hunting. She loved making quilts to give her daughters and granddaughters, and well, the grandsons too.  She took the scriptures to heart when it came to caring for her neighbors.  Genell was a caring and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend.  She treasured her family and was loved by everyone who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Binum and Jewel Campbell; husband, Billy Ray Henson; three brothers, Paul Campbell, Ray Campbell and Doyle Wayne Campbell and a son-in-law, Paul Standridge.

Genell is survived by her four daughters, Connie Middleton and husband Terry, Donna Standridge, Tenna Whitney and husband George and Tinnie Goodall and husband Jack; eight grandchildren, Margo Hunt (Donny), Dusty Middleton (April), Dewayne Standridge, Amondo Schilling, Tyler Goodall, Jaclyn Goodall, Cody Middleton (Stephanie) and Hope Freeman (Travis); eleven great grandchildren, Gage, Gavin, Tristan, Sydney, Hunter, Olivia, Wade, Ava, Macy, Madalyn and Jaden and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends who loved her and will miss her.

Funeral service will be held at 2 PM, Monday, February 21, 2022 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison with Rev. Donnie Chisum and Bro. Kenneth Campbell officiating.  Burial will follow at Mount Judea Cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral beginning at 1 PM at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Dusty Middleton, Amondo Schilling, Travis Freeman, Tyler Goodall, Donny Hunt and Cody Middleton.

Honorary pallbearers are Terry Middleton, Jack Goodall, George Whitney, Dewayne Standridge, Tristan Hunt, Gage Freeman and Gavin Freeman.
