IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Loyce Ann
Baldwin
April 28, 1946 – January 18, 2020
Loyce Ann Baldwin, 73 of Harrison, Arkansas, won her biggest victory on Saturday, January 18, 2020, and ran into the arms of Jesus.
Mama has had many victories in her life. We have almost lost her several times with her heart condition over the past 20 years. At 51 and 53, she had to have triple bypass surgery due to heart attacks and strokes. She has lived several years with limited heart function. Throughout her health struggles, she never lost her spunk or will. We never thought cancer would come so fast and stay, but she was the bravest and strongest person we have ever known.
Born at Hobbs, New Mexico on April 28, 1946, her parents were Robert Sterling and Annie Lee (Oldaker) Humble. She moved from East Texas to Arkansas 30 years ago and was a Christian.
Mama worked as an ICU/CCU RN at East Texas Medical Center and NARMC and a Hospice RN in Hardy, Arkansas. She loved going to casino's, fishing, camping, being outdoors and traveling. She enjoyed crocheting in her younger years, playing Yahtzee and especially her TV programs, The Price is Right and Let's Make a Deal. She was very giving, often sharing anything and everything. She was called Nana by many, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, John Franklin Lewis and Loyd Baldwin; brother, Robert Humble, sister, Sandra Cox and daughter, Shauna Hemsworth.
She is survived by her children, Dianne Wright of White Oak, TX, Cheryl Martin and husband Brandon and John Sterling Lewis both of Harrison; 5 stepchildren, Michael, Randy, Kathy, Kelly and Stevie; her siblings, Billie Teague and Rhonda Gilford both of WA and Ronnie Humble of Texarkana, AR; 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kerry Liggett officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Brandon Martin, Josh Sartors, Shawn McAdoo, Shane McAdoo, Christopher Masters, Layton Rogers and Josiah Martin.
Honorary Pallbearers are Legacy Hospice Staff and Nurses, Dr. Charles Klepper and Main Street Medical Clinic Staff and Dr. Rebecca Burcham, her longtime cardiologist.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Legacy Hospice, 702 N. Main, Suite A, Harrison, AR, 72601.
