Lowana Joy Gobble, age 72, died May 5, 2009 at St. John's Health Center in Springfield Missouri.
She was born April 27, 1937 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, the daughter of Thomas Fields and Nora (Stanfield) Johnson.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Larry "Duck" Fields.
Lowana was a Christian. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and also a member of the Cherokee Nation. She was a very loving and caring mother, and had many friends.
Lowana Joy Gobble is survived by her husband, Ralph Eugene Gobble of St. Joe; her sons, Jackie Ennis of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Dale Ennis of Kansas, Charles Eddings of St. Joe, and Bryan Eddings of St. Joe; her daughter Vickie Ennis of Rogers, Arkansas; her brothers Rex Fields of Bentonville, Arkansas, Johnny Fields, Steven "Mud" Fields and Thomas "Pork" Fields all of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; her sisters, Judith "Judy" Danford of Lowell, Arkansas, Julia "Bea" Foreman, Rita Mae "Boo" Manus, Ella Mae "Sayugee" Fields, Ludavene "Oopie" Mouse, and Barbara "Dolly" Fields all of Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
Memorial Service was Friday, May 8, 2009 A.M. at the Valley Springs Light House Church with Dwayne Bryant officiating.
Cremation and arrangements have been handled by Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison.
