Lovedia Smith, of Harrison, passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Cox Medical Center in Branson. She was 90 years old.

The daughter of Melvin and Pairlee (Flud) Bolin was born on March 12, 1931 in Vendor, Arkansas.

Lovedia was a strong Christian woman and had been a lifelong member of the Assembly of God church. She married James L. "Jim" Smith on June 21, 1951 and together they enjoyed camping, fishing, and gardening. Lovedia was an active person who enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, and was especially proud when driving around in her standard transmission car.  She was very proud of her family and they meant everything to her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Smith; her parents; one granddaughter, Tracy Smith; sisters, Claudia Donley, Pauline Flud, Ova Bruce, and Nova Bower; brother, Delmar Bolin; and an infant brother.

Survivors include one son and his wife, J.D. and Judy Smith; one daughter and her husband, Kathy and Phillip Paul; two grandchildren, Ashley (Will) Simpson and Wesley (Laura) Paul; two great grandchildren, Levi and Henry Paul; one brother and his wife, Calvin and Judy Bolin; one sister and her husband, Katherin and Frankie Spears; and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, June 18, 2021 at Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Funeral service is Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Capps Full Gospel Church with Rev. Tollie Suttefield and Rev. Ed Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Sanders Cemetery. Pallbearers are Tim Campbell, Wesley Paul, Will Simpson, Dwight Bower, Jonathan Smith, and Randall Spears. Honorary pallbearers include Lovedia's nieces and nephews.
