Louise Brazeal, age 61 of Jasper, AR, passed away Monday, January 1, 2007 at Overland Park Regency Medical Center in Overland Park, KS.

The daughter of Floyd Arnold and Lillian Eilene (Harris) Ramsey was born March 16, 1945 in Holiday, Kansas. She was a homemaker, was of the Baptist faith, and lived most of her life in Newton County. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Michael Troy Brazeal; three grandsons, Leslie Dean Gillett, Jr., Ricky Standfield, Jr., and JD Pete Standfield; a sister, Betty Gaddis; and a step-brother, Gary Manen.

Survivors are her husband, Lz Brazeal of the home; children, David Wayne Standfield and Lisa Louise Gillett, both of Kansas City, KS, Ricky Lee Stanfield of Metalton, AR, Tresa Stallard and James Wayne Brazeal, both of Kansas City, KS, Nona Lea Brazeal of Jasper, Jennifer Diane Mass of Squires, MO and Shirley Faye Morgan of Jasper; six sisters, Alice Hanna of Kansas City, KS, Laverne Lawson of Mtn. Home, Ar, Carol Brazeal of Pleasant Hill, MO, Janice Turley of Shiloh, AR, Judy Willey of Harrison and Karen Walker of Sweetwater, TN; five brothers, Floyd Arnold "Doc" Ramsey of Parthenon, Bobby Earl Ramsey and Billy Gene Ramsey, both of Mansfield, MO, James Compton of Jasper, Jiggs Compton of Shiloh, AR; four step-brothers, Jimmy Manen of Houston, TX, Larry Manen of Harrison, Allen Manen and Richard Manen, both of Ponca, AR; twenty-five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Visitation was Thursday at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper with Rev. Lester Turner officiating. Service was Friday, January 5, at the funeral home chapel. Burial was in Buffalo Cemetery. Pallbearers were Russell Morgan, Kenny Brazeal, James Brazeal, Jr., Harvey Gash, Steve Turley, Sr., and Alex Turley. Honorary pallbearers were Gene Daniels, Ernest Brazeal, and Joe Brazeal.
