Lora F. McClelland, age 79 of Jasper, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2007 at Fayetteville, AR. She was born on February 7, 1928 at Big Creek in Newton County, the daughter of Floyd and Arkie May (Holt) Gilmore. Lora was a member of the Jasper Assembly of God Church, Smith Mountain EH Club, and was very involved in the local nursing home and food room.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Merwin L. McClelland in 1989.

Lora's family is celebrating her everlasting life and mourning their loss of her testimony and witness.

Survivors include her children: one daughter, Christina Studna and husband, Regan of Overland Park, Kansas; five sons, Michael L. McClelland and family of Jasper, Kelly D. McClelland and family of Overland Park, KS, Timothy R. McClelland and family of Fayetteville, AR, Keith W. McClelland and Family of Jasper and Mark M. McClelland and family of Little Rock, AR; three sisters, Patsy Stitt of Kansas City, MO, Doris Singleton of Senecaville, OH and Valerie Gadberry of Hutchinson, KS; one brother, Jim Gilmore of Shawnee, KS; 19 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and many more nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 15, 2007 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper with Bro. Troy Walker officiating. Burial will be in Crossroads Cemetery near Deer with Bro. Stan Taylor officiating. Visitation from 6-8 PM, Wednesday at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper.

Pallbearers are Seth McClelland, Josh McClelland, Regan H. Studna, Matthew McClelland, Kevin McClelland and Corey Kelley.
Honorary pallbearer is Kevin Irish.
