Lonnie Lee Smith, Jr., of Pelsor, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at Conway Regional Medical Center.  He was 58 years old. 

The son of Lonnie Smith, Sr. and Gloria Jean (Stanton) Smith was born on November 16, 1967 in Kansas City, Kansas. 

Lonnie will always be remembered for his contagious laugh, corny jokes, and a tender heart.  His generosity knew no bounds.  Lonnie enjoyed writing songs and sharing them with each and every one of us. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria Jean Smith; and one brother, Gerald Dennis Smith. 

Survivors include his father, Lonnie Smith, Sr.; one brother, William Joseph Smith; Joe Smith, Josh (Shakeita) Smith, and Shyann Smith, who he lovingly raised as his niece and nephews; and a host of other family and friends. 

Graveside service will be Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Crossroads Cemetery at Deer.  Pastor Jon Burdine will officiate.  Pallbearers will be family and friends.  Honorary pallbearers include Joe and Josh Smith.
