Obituary
Lonnie O. Russell, age 79, of Bergman, AR, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at his home.
The son of Everett Pearl and Zoy Bertha (McCord) Russell, was born September 19, 1928 in Stuart, OK.
He retired from the City of Harrison Water Department, after 19 years and then worked for North Arkansas Regional Medical Center for 9 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Lonnie was a great person who loved his children,
grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
His parents preceded him in death, along with his wife, Ida Murriell (Collier) Russell; three brothers; and one sister.
Survivors are his children, Millie Lawson, of Springfield, MO, Roger Lawson and his wife, Donna, of Harrison, and Wanda Emerson, of the home; brothers, Gerl Russell, of Stuart, OK and Berl Russell, of Hobbs, N.M.: sister, Marie Sutterfield, of Walla Walla, WA; seven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
Memorial service was Saturday, March 8, 2008 at Coffman Chapel in Harrison with Rev. Howard Braymer officiating.
Burial followed in Gass Cemetery.
Cremation arrangements are being handled by Coffman Funeral Home.
