Lola "Carol" Riley, age 65, of Everton, Arkansas, passed away at home on Saturday, August 19, 2023.

The daughter of Willard James Henson and Anna (Spears) Henson was born December 6, 1957 in Bass, Arkansas. She was raised in Newton County, and she has been a longtime resident of Boone County. She attended church at Yardelle Chapel.

Carol has worked 23 years at Walmart.  She has been a staple figure at Walmart to the customers as well as a supporter and beloved mentor to her many co-workers.

More than anything, Carol loved her family.  They were the most important thing in the world to her. She treasured spending time with her grandchildren.  Carol was a loving, caring, and generous mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She always had an open heart to help anyone she could and was everyone's friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Jeremy Smith.

Carol is survived by her husband of 35 years, Steven Riley, Sr.; her sons, Steven Riley, Jr. (Lacey), and Ethan James Riley (Jolene Tate); and sisters, Diane Criner (Danny) and Crystal Hill (David); three grandchildren, Noah Riley, Layken Riley, and Allison Norton; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 22 from 6 PM to 8 PM at Coffman Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be at 10 AM, Wednesday, August 23 at the funeral home.

Honorary pallbearers are her Nieces, Nephews, and Walmart Store #2 Family.
