Lois V. Dean, 85, of Harrison, Arkansas passed away at home Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 11:43 AM.

She was born Wednesday, July 22, 1936 to Ollie Trammell and Francis (Daniel) Trammell. Lois was the second of eleven total siblings. She was married to Rual (Red) Ramey who passed in 1990. She married Delbert Dean on June 23, 2000 after dating for 7 years.

When she was well, she enjoyed taking rides with Delbert to various places where time was spent growing up and living through the years. Lois was a long-time member of Union Baptist Church and steadfast in her faith and God. In her words from 2003, "I love all my kids and grandkids and every one of my faith. I have enjoyed my years at home and had a good time through the years."

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Rual; an infant son James Patterson; a daughter, Virginia Toothman; three brothers, Carl Trammell, Don Trammell and Ernie Trammell; two sisters, Lona Thacker and Bernice Crow.

Lois is survived by her husband, Delbert Dean; her sister, Jackie Martin; four brothers, Jim (Kay) Trammell, Dale Trammell, Simp (Nita) Trammell and Larry (Delores) Trammell; sister-in-law, Jackie Blythe; brother-in-law, Darrell Dean; three grandchildren, one great-grandson, one step great-grandson, one step great-granddaughter and 1 step great-great-granddaughter.

Funeral will be at 2 PM, Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison with Bro. Kenneth Crow officiating.  Burial will follow at White Church Cemetery near Harrison.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 PM – 8 PM at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are David Lewis, Presley Ramey, James Fowler, Scott Trammell, Lyn Gray and Bobby Ruff.

Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Tom Langston and Wesley Trammell.
