Obituary
Lois Inita Cecil, age 80 of Bergman, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at Bergman.
The daughter of Samuel and Gertie M. (Sands) Gill was born April 11, 1931 in Bergman, Arkansas.
She was a former beautician, had worked as a furniture maker and was a farmer. She enjoyed gardening and was a member of Oregon Flat Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John H. Cecil; a son, Johnny Allen Cecil; brother, Albert Gill; and a sister, Irene Cecil.
Survivors are her son, Carl Cecil and Pat Hogue of Harrison; her daughter, Rita Diffey and husband, David of Bergman; a very special friend, Wayne Phifer of Bergman; three grandchildren, Keith Diffey, Tamara Lunn and Kara Diffey; four great-grandchildren, Kaydence Diffey, Jacoby Diffey, Lachlan Lunn and Cyric Lunn; and a great-grandchild on the way. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was Sunday, January 15, 2012 with funeral service Monday, January 16, 2012 both at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Keith Diffey and Galen Phifer officiated
Burial followed in York Cemetery with pallbearers being Keith Diffey, Richard Cantrell, Jeff Harris, Beau Lunn, Eddie Cecil and Darrell Daniels.
Honorary pallbearers were Roy Cecil, David Diffey, Dr. Tom Langston, Clifford Cecil, Doy Cecil, David Sands, Danny Scroggins, Larry Daniels and Richard "Corky" Cecil.
